A Caring History. A Visionary Future.

For most institutions, a bicentennial is an opportunity to look back. At Mass General,
it is an opportunity to address the medical challenges our patients and our world will
face over the next 100 years. Our Campaign for the Third Century of MGH Medicine
will ensure our ability to always deliver the world's most scientifically advanced
medicine with the deepest compassion for patients here and across the globe.

The “Individual Care, Global Impact” campaign
reflects our past, present, and future.

Our current campaign represents the most ambitious fund-raising effort in Mass General's
history. Our goal is to raise at least $1.5 billion that will enhance every component of our
mission and will touch all areas of the institution. We are embarking on this challenging
endeavor because we believe it is imperative, indeed, our responsibility to do so. We must
ensure that this global organization perched on the banks of the Charles River remains a
beacon of hope—for us, as well as our children and grandchildren.
